Favourite Argos memory: The opportunity to go to Vancouver for the Grey Cup last year was such an unforgettable experience. Being able to experience all the hype, the fans and the amazing energy in Vancouver with my team was absolutely amazing, we had such a good time! The experience made me that more excited that Toronto is hosting the 100th Grey Cup this year!
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and spend time with friends and family. I absolutely love summer so you can guarantee if the sun is out, you can find me outside either at the beach or by the pool.
How do you stay in shape in the off-season? I keep dancing and going to the gym regularly. I try to sweat once a day and switch up my workouts. Eating well is also a very important part of not only staying in shape, but feeling healthier and more energized! I drink plenty of water, and remember to have everything in moderation.
When did you start dancing/cheerleading? I started dancing when I was four years old and haven't stopped since. Dance has always been a huge part of my life.
What inspired you to try-out for the Argos Cheerleaders? Finding an organization that combined my love for dance as well as my love for being a part of a team is what really inspired me to try-out for the Argos Cheerleaders. There is nothing better than being on a team with girls who share the same passion as you. I also love the fact that the Argos pride themselves on being very involved in the community. Being able to travel around Toronto and interact with the fans is very rewarding.
If you could make one dream come true, what would it be? It would be for the Argos to bring home the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: Something most people don't know about me is that I am fluent in French.
What are you most excited about regarding the 100th Grey Cup? The fans that travel from all over Canada, the events, the parties, the energy, and the game!
Players often have pre-game routines, what’s your pre-game routine? My pre-game routine is to hang out with the girls and listen to some good music to get pumped up and ready to go!
Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I see myself graduating from university and teaching dance. I don't see myself doing anything that doesn't involve dancing.
What or who is your greatest inspiration? My greatest inspiration is to stay positve. Being negative will not only ruin your mood, but also everyone else's. No matter how stressful the situation, if you keep yourself in a positive, easy going mind set, it makes everything a lot easier and more enjoyable!
