Hometown: Bolton, Ontario (cutest town ever)
Favourite Argo memory: My first Grey Cup in Vancouver, BC, such an amazing experience so many memories with all the girls, and being on field performing in a packed stadium was such a rush!!! Plus being in Vancouver with all my best friends was something I will never forget,
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I like to spend time with family and friends. I have a huge Italian family and dinners and hanging out with them is always eventful, I love to be at home because my house is so loud and crazy. I also love to swim, have BBQ and pool parties, be at the cottage, and play with my 2 amazing puppies!!
How do you stay in shape in the off season? In the off season I work out as often as I can, I like to do yoga, pilates and body pump. I also eat super healthy lots of fruits and veggies especially around the holidays, but a treat every once in a while is definitely a MUST!!
When did you start dancing/cheerleading? I started dancing when I was 3 years old, I was a competitive dancer for 15 years, then I continued dancing at York University on the dance team and then in 2011 I made the Argos Cheerleaders team and this is my second year cheerleading!!!!
What inspired you to try-out for the Argos cheerleading team? I wanted to try out for the team because I am a HUGE football buff, I love everything about the game and I figured if I’m going to watch every game it’s probably way better from the sidelines, (and I was right!!!).
If you could make one dream come true what would it be? If I could make one dream come true it would be to cure cancer, it is such a devastating disease and some very loved and important people have unfortunately lost the battle.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: Something most people don’t know about me is that I LOVE to shop. I am usually at the mall a few times a week, or online shopping with my puppy Mercedes.
What are you most excited about regarding the 100th Grey Cup? So much stuff comes to mind, since this Grey Cup is going to the best one ever, I think I am most excited about the game.
Players often have pre game routines, what’s your pre game routine? My pre game routine consists of a lot of prepping, hair, make up, hair again, a little perfume, stretching, praying to the football gods, and just getting pumped up in the dressing room with all my Argos girls. There is nothing better than being in our game day dressing room, it is so crazy and fun in there!!!! Cheerleaders are the best kind of friends and getting ready for amazing games at the Rogers Centre are my favorite days!!!!!
Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years I would like to be either a lawyer practicing law, or working for the government. I just graduated York University and I am continuing my studies this year again at York. I also would love to have a family, it is so important to be able to share your goals with an amazing family so balancing a career and a family is where I would LOVE to be in 5 years.
What or who is your greatest inspiration? My greatest inspiration comes from family, I couldn’t choose just one person because each person in my family inspires me in a different way, Mom, Dad, Lyndsi, Jesse, Mark, Nana and Papa you guys are the absolute best and I love you all so much. Thank you for pushing me to be the best I can be and dealing with me over all these years. I know you love me and I am so grateful to have you in my life.
