Name: Gian

Birthday: March 16th

Occupation: Lawyer

Hometown: Burlington, Ontario

Favourite Argos memory: Walking on to the field for the first time at my very first home game. It was such an awesome experience to finally get out there after months of practice and to see all the fans and feel their excitement!

What do you like to do in your spare time? Go to the beach, spend time with family and friends, watch football, shop and read.

How do you stay in shape in the off-season? By running, doing hot yoga, doing HIIT & strength training.

When did you start dancing/cheerleading? I started dancing when I was 2 years old and started cheerleading three years ago.

What inspired you to tryout for the Argos Cheerleaders? I’ve always wanted to be a member of a professional dance team and I’m absolutely obsessed with football! Becoming an Argos Cheerleader allowed me to combine my love of performing with my love of football, and also gave me the chance to work with some amazing people. I love this team!

If you could make one dream come true what would it be? I would love to cheer the Argos on to a 2012 Grey Cup championship right here in Toronto!

Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I love sour foods and drinks! One of my favourite things to drink is fresh lemon juice over ice with a little salt added.

What are you most excited about reagarding the 100th Grey Cup? I’m incredibly excited to welcome the CFL fans to our amazing city and show them what Toronto has to offer! We have an incredible celebration planned & I’m thrilled to be a part of it!

Players often have pre-game routines, what’s your pre-game routine? My pre-game routine involves having a great time in the change room with my teammates as we put the finishing touches on our hair and makeup. There's lots of laughter, music and high energy to get us pumped up to hit the field!

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I see myself balancing a happy family, a thriving law career, and travelling the world as much as possible!

What or who is your greatest inspiration? My mother is my greatest inspiration. She has this go-getter attitude & never takes no for an answer, even when things seem impossible. She combines that with an incredibly sweet and generous spirit. She’s an awesome person and my goal is to always make her proud.
