Years on Team: 3rd year
Birthday: August 2
Where you were born/hometown: London, Ontario
Occupation: Full-time student, Professional Dancer/Dance Instructor
Education: George Brown Commercial Dance Studies Program. Currently studying towards my BA Honours Degree in Dance at York University.
Favourite Argo Memory: Just one? I would definitely have to say that last years Grey Cup in Vancouver was extra special because I had the best roommates ever! (Kristen, Alyssa and Kate). There wasn't a single moment where we weren't laughing and enjoying ourselves. Grey Cup is a very busy weekend for all of us but we all had energy to last us a life time! Love my girls in blue!
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love taking dance classes and going to the gym. Being active is a huge part of my life so I always make sure to make time for that. I also love spending time with my family. I come from a huge Italian family so whenever we get together, you know it’s going to be loud, crazy and something hilarious will happen!
How do you stay in shape in the off season? Work up a sweat at least once a day and drink lots of water. Whether it means going to the gym or cleaning your house, moving around is key!
When did you start dancing/cheerleading? I was 5 years old and came home after school one day and said, "Mom! I wanna do Jazz!" I haven't stopped dancing since. I have trained and performed in Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe. It is my number one passion in life and I don't see myself doing anything else but dancing.
Why do you like being an Argos Cheerleader/why did you tryout? I wanted to become an Argos Cheerleader because I absolutely love to perform. It is my life and who I am. I’m also a big people person so I love being involved with all the community work we do, meeting our amazing fans and entertaining the crowd. To know that I can combine performing with representing one of the BEST cities in the world is truly a dream.
If we could make one dream come true it would be? Bringing that GREY CUP home where it belongs, TORONTO.
Tell us something most people don't know about you: I may be a girly girl but I definitely have a sporty side. I absolutely love soccer and basketball. I played basketball growing up but I had to stop because it conflicted with dance and I’m obsessed with the FIFA World Cup. When that time comes around, I’ll be supporting my team (Azzurri!) to the fullest!
