MISSISSAUGA – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to welcome 6-foot, 6-inch import receiver Demario Ballard to the practice roster.
Ballard caught 70 passes for 1,186 yards and 12 touchdowns during three seasons at Western Oregon. As a senior, he was named First-Team All-GNAC when he caught 35 passes for 620 yards and 5 touchdowns. Ballard transferred to Western Oregon from Siskiyous Junior College where he was a standout basketball and football player. He was a final training camp cut of the NFL’s Detroit Lions this year.
The club also announced that import QB Zack Eskridge has been removed from the practice roster today.
