Argos Add Two On Offence And One On Defence

Mississauga – CFL
training camps open in just over three weeks and the Toronto Argonauts
have added three more players to their roster. Import DE Dallas Flynn, non-import FB Ugonna Ihekwoaba (Hick-wo-ba) and import WR James Robinson have all inked contracts with the club.

Dallas Flynn was named First-Team All-MIAA and First-Team All-Region as a senior at
Northwest Missouri State. He earned Second-Team All-Conference honours
as a junior and started all 15-games. He was a force on the line for
his entire career as he finished among the top-5 in school history for
sacks with 20.

Ugonna Ihekwoaba has been a vital part of the Marauders’ offence for the past three
seasons. He was a triple-threat in the OUA as a superior runner,
receiver and blocker. The versatile Burlington, Ontario native played
14 games over three seasons at defensive end, running back, fullback
and slotback, and accumulated 275 offensive yards and a touchdown.

James Robinson has re-signed with the Argos after spending part of last season on the
club’s practice roster. Robinson’s raw skill, speed and size make the
talented receiver a legitimate offensive threat. He was groomed by
former Argos QB Ricky Foggie while playing for the Las Vegas Gladiators
of AF2 in 2006 and was rated as one of the best two receivers in the
league. He spent the start of 2008 on the practice roster of the Kansas
City Brigade of the AFL.
